How It Works
Our online alarm runs directly in the browser. Alarms are saved in your browser (localStorage) so they persist across refreshes. The alarm uses an internal audio engine for reliable playback and preview. For best reliability keep the tab open and the device awake.
Quick Start
- Enter a label and choose a time (AM/PM).
- Pick repeat days and a sound; Preview before saving.
- Choose Play once (1 minute) or Loop until stopped.
- Click Save — your alarms persist and will ring at the set time.
Benefits
Set alarms without installing apps. Use for wake-up, medication reminders, meetings, or study sessions. Free, no login required, and works across desktops and mobile.
Web vs Mobile Alarm
Web alarms require the tab to be open but are cross-platform and shareable. Mobile alarms use OS services and can run in the background, but require installation.
Reliability Tips
- Keep the tab open and device awake for consistent alerts.
- Ensure system and tab volume are up.
- Use Loop mode if you risk missing the first ring.
FAQs
Can I set multiple alarms online?
Yes — create as many alarms as you need and label them for clarity.
Will alarms survive a page refresh?
Yes — alarms are stored in your browser and reload on refresh automatically.
Do sounds always play?
Sounds are produced by an internal audio engine and play reliably after user interaction (the first click resumes audio in some browsers).
How do I edit an alarm?
Click Edit on the alarm card to populate the form. Change values and click Save to update the alarm.
